Convert GPX to KML — and back — on Android
No converter website, no upload: open the file, export it in the format you need.
On the phone, offline
Online converters ask you to upload your track. GPX Atlas converts on the phone: the file never leaves it.
Step by step
- Open the file in GPX Atlas — GPX, KML, KMZ, FIT, TCX, GeoJSON or LOC.
- Open the ⋮ menu and choose Export….
- Pick the format, then where to send it: Drive, email, a messaging app, Google Earth, Strava…
Which format for what
| Format | For |
|---|---|
| GPX | GPS units, watches, Strava, komoot, Garmin Connect |
| GPZ | A compressed GPX, smaller to send |
| KML, KMZ | Google Earth and Google My Maps |
| GeoJSON | Web maps and developers |
| CSV | A spreadsheet: one row per point |
| Shapefile, DXF | GIS and drawing software |
| A printable report with the map, profile and splits |
Several tracks can be exported into one file from the library's selection. More in Routes, editing, export.
